Hi there, I'm Leila!

The first thing you should know about me is: I love reading bios but I cringe at the thought of writing my own, so I'll keep this short and sweet!

I have always had an insatiable curiosity about the world and the unknown. My love for travel began when I studied abroad in Barcelona in 2005. I absolutely fell in love with everything about the vibrant city that oozes with culture.

After my short stint in Spain, I had a serious case of wanderlust. I remember binge-watching Wild on E! with Brooke Burke as she gallivanted around the world, immersing herself in different cultures, meeting people from all corners of the world, and tasting new food. I instantly knew I wanted her job.

Never did I imagine that nearly 13 years later, my wildest dreams would come true. I left a career in tech behind to pursue traveling as a full-time profession.

My work has been featured in publications including NBC News, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel+Leisure, Business Insider, USA Today, Robb Report, and Barron's. I've also been documenting my memories on the 'gram and sharing the beauty of this world with other curious travelers. Being able to tell a story of a person or place in front of or behind the camera is my greatest passion and I’ve been lucky enough to do what I love and share it with other intrepid travelers.
